TRAINING

Already many local people and organisations have come forward to be trained up to be involved both on air and behind the scenes in our previous broadcasts .

You don’t need any experience so if you fancy having a go. Training will be offered in the following areas:-

  • How to conduct interviews on the radio
  • A basic introduction to editing for radio
  • Recording and editing a short feature for radio
  • How to build a station not just a programme (essential for anyone wishing to present!)
  • Using the studio for presenters
  • How to prepare for broadcast for presenters
  • Community radio for community groups - how it can benefit your cause

If you are interested in any of the above or other training opportunities click on the 'get involved' link on this page and fill in the simple on line form and someone will contact you

Rhondda Radio is run by locally based volunteers who will receive training to present programmes and carry out a range of behind the scenes duties. We’ll take some details from you and then introduce you to the team who will be running Rhondda Radio and answer any questions you may have.

We'll give you some info and send you a form.. Alternatively use the volunteer form.

HOW CAN THE TRAINING BENEFIT YOU?

Would you like to...

Learn new skills and gain experience ?

Make new friends ?

Be involved in helping make your community a better place ?

Then this is how we can help….

Provide informal training in your community

Maybe you have an idea for a radio programme – we can help you make it a reality

Help you with using computers or improving the skills you already have

Even if you only have an hour or so spare a week you can get involved

REMEMBER – the training is FREE and if you are in receipt of benefits these will NOT be affected
